I'm pretty okay with this.
Though going from the CTS as last years to the Golf this year is a big difference in class.
I will admit though, I'd take a basic Golf S 1.8T 2-door over pretty much any car in the class. The MK7 just looks so good.
It'll be nice to see how it holds up reliability wise once MT gets their year-long tester like they always do with their "of the Year" winners.
Now, can we talk about revisiting the SUV of the Year and give it to anything other than the CR-V?

No no no, I used to own a VW (2011 model). The electrics were the only thing that didn't break!

That gets too expensive far too easily I think. And Motor Trend said it didn't drive as well as the old ones do.
